I started riding dirt bikes in the
early 70’s and have been hooked ever since. My first bike was a 2-stroke
Harley-Davidson Baja 100 and I started racing Moto-Cross in the mid 70’s.
These are some of my racing accomplishments from over the years:
1981 – Dirt 15 Open Class Champion –
MX
1982 – Dirt 10 Open Class Champion – Hare-Scrambles
1984 – Street bike accident almost killed me!
1987 – Loretta Lynn’s finished top 20 – Open A
1989 – AMA National Hare Scramble Series – finished National #2 – 200
B-Class
1990 – AMA National Hare Scramble Series – finished National #7 – 200
A-Class
1998-2001 – Four-time AHRMA Vintage Racing National Champion
I’ve ridden many brands over the years, but have always favored European
machinery. During the 70’s & 80’s, the majority of my racing was on
Husqvarna’s. I saved and collected a lot of Husky stuff during those years,
so when I got involved in AHRMA Vintage racing I resurrected some of my Husky’s.
I began to realize there is a real need for Vintage Husqvarna motorcycles
and parts. That’s when I opened the doors to PVP Cycles; specializing in
European motorcycles – Vintage to Modern. I keep a large stock of Vintage
Husqvarna parts and accessories. On the modern side I carry VOR & ATK
motorcycles. I do take a lot of pride in the fact that I don’t just sell
motorcycles, parts and accessories, I am still out there racing as many vintage
and modern events as I can. Hopefully, I can help you with some of your motorcycle
needs, if not maybe I’ll see you on the track or trail.
Thanks,
Andy
